Details of experience of working with communities
TheUrbanGlow has over 16 years experience of working with communities and within local authorities in Yorkshire in matters of Planning, Urban Design and Heritage. Andrew Graham is a passionate advocate of community led development and as well as being engaged directly with communities and Councils in Village Design Statements, Neighbourhood Planning and Characterisation, he has also represented communities such as the Farsley Residents Action Group on helping advocate development in the right places through his role as Expert Heritage Witness at Planning Appeal. Most recently he produced a major masterplanning and characterisation piece for Aireborough Neighbourhood Forum which provided a strong vision for directing development into the future whilst protecting the special architectural, landscape and historic character of the areas of Yeadon, Guiseley and Menston. He also provided design layouts for smaller sites and helped advocate their use for community self build as an allocation within the Local Plan.
